From yarn to doorstep.

Fibres are sourced from trusted mills in New Zealand, Kashmir, and highland India — graded by staple length and micron.

Small-batch dyed in copper vats — vegetable and mineral dyes for archival pieces, controlled synthetic dyes for consistency across commercial orders.

Warp yarns are strung on the loom by hand; the design is transcribed onto a knot-by-knot cartoon.

The chosen technique is executed by master weavers. A 9x12 hand-knotted rug can take 9–14 months.

The finished rug is washed multiple times with mild vegetable-based soaps to soften the pile and set the colours.

The rug is stretched on a wooden frame to true up shape and fringe alignment.

Hand-carved detailing, binding, and fringe treatment. Loose threads are trimmed by hand.

Every rug is inspected for knot count, colour fastness, dimensions, and finish before it leaves the workshop.

Rolled, wrapped in breathable cotton, and boxed for international sea or air freight.
